Boss Babe Believer ☆

Hi Babe! If you are here and reading this, welcome! I can promise you, you'll be more motivated after reading this blog post than you are right now. If you've been keeping up with my previous blog posts, you would know that I recently quit my job as a Retail Store Manager to pursue my passion of being my own boss and motivating other women to do the same and BELIEVE in themselves.

Now, I get it, you may be saying, "Is she crazy, I can't just quit my job, I have priorities, no time for me, this will never work out." I have been there and have said those same things. It took me a LOOOOONG time to just quit my job and start doing ME! But, I am here to tell you that it doesn't have to take forever, you can start right now.

Before you can dive into anything, you need to change the mindset of NO. You need to start saying yes, yes I can do this, yes I am ready to be the true me, yes I am scared but, knowing I didn't jump is scarier. Having the positive mindset will start to give you the power and confidence you need to believe in yourself and that what you want for yourself is indeed possible.

Let's first start with where you are right now. Are you working? Is it a career or a job? Are you just working to pay bills? Is it the schedule you want? Time for you, family, friends, and kids? What is your passion? What do you love to do even as a hobby that never feels like you are working? Think about that for a minute. Grab paper and answer those questions truthfully. I can probably guarantee you that most, if not all of those answers are not what you want them to be and that's okay, you're here now! Let's get started.....

So, for as long as I can remember, I always loved to be in charge of something. With my jobs, I always aimed for some type of manager role no matter how big or small, that was just my mindset, to be the best that I could be. I made it, made it to the top of my retail career as Store Manager and guess what... I just still wasn't fulfilled. Was I in a career? Yes. Was I making my own schedule? Yes. Was I working? Yuuuup. But, it wasn't my passion, I didn't looove retail and I still had to answer to someone above me and I still had to do a job that didn't interest me. I had so many back and forth conversations with myself, my husband, my mom about what I should be doing with my retail career. Do I stick it out, do I give it six more months, maybe something will change, I can't leave, that's my steady income, what if I can't find another job, soooooo many questions. Until about a month ago, I was presented an opportunity.

Now, this opportunity wasn't thrown into my lap, I was added to an event and was shown how amazing you could actually feel when you're doing something you love with women who feel the exact same way. The company was one I was familiar with and loved but, never thought about the opportunity it could give me because I was always caught up in my "job." I started doing my research and asking questions and took a chance on myself for once. Within my first NINE days of being with this company, I had already made back my investment. Don't believe me? Ask for the proof babe!

Two weeks after that, I left my retail job and will never look back again. I remember calling my husband that day and saying to him I just couldn't do it anymore, like there was noooo way I could continue and he said quit. I am so grateful for his support and motivation. He has always been my number one supporter.

That's just what you need babe; a support system. It doesn't have to be 10, 20, or 100 people, just a few is the key. People who support you at your best, worst and craziest times. That no matter how big or small the idea you have is, they say hell yeah give me the details! And that is what I am here for, to be YOUR biggest supporter, to give you advice, motivation and support whenever you need it. Here to be a friend and not an enemy. Women always want to bring each other down and not lift one another up. I will forever, never understand that. I want a community of women on my side ready for the next challenge to conquer together and to believe that anything is possible when you start believing in you.
